Hot Industry News! Samsung® Galaxy S® III On the Way!
Apple was successful in waylaying the HTC Evo 4G LTE launch, but it looks like they will not be as lucky in delaying the release of the Samsung® Galaxy S® III.
A U.S. District Court judge decided that the court injunction sought by Apple to block the Jun 21st launch of the device wasn't worthy of a hearing, saying it would overload her calendar at a time when she will oversee a trial on Apple's patent lawsuits against other Samsung Android devices.
The Samsung® Galaxy S® III will be available on all five major U.S. carriers, and for the first time in the industry, all carriers are keeping the Galaxy S® III name, rather than re-branding it to network a specific name.
Already available for pre-order, the device launches June 21st on Sprint and T-Mobile, with Verizon saying it will become available "in the coming weeks", AT&T saying it will hit shelves in the summer, and U.S. Cellular saying it will come to market in July.
Petra offers a fantastic selection of cases for the Samsung® Galaxy S® III. Have a look at our current offering on the Petra website. Check back often, because additional models are being added regularly.
