Remember the walkie-talkies of yesteryear? The kind you made with the neighbor kid, tying string together with a can? Maybe some of you even got to do like in the movies and hang it up across from each other’s windows. This is kind of like that – but better. Way better.

The Motorola 28-Mile Talkabout 2-Way Radios are equipped with 22 channels and 121 privacy codes, allowing for 2,662 combinations. These radios even come with 11 weather channels, with an alert feature, and SAME-Specific message encoding.



The dual receive mode allows the user to monitor both the 2-way channel and the weather channels in standby, and these radios even come with iVOX hands-free communication – making them great for multitasking. They also have digital signal processing, backlit display, and an LCD battery meter. The rechargeable NiMH batteries will last up to nine hours, and three AA alkaline batteries allow for an estimated 13 hours of talk time.Last but not least, these radios come with two belt clips, 2NiMH rechargeable battery packs, and 110V home battery charger with dual radio base.
