Web Special Spotlight: the OmniMount Tilt, Pan & Rotate Workstation

Are you familiar with "sitting disease"? According to Dr. James Levine of the Mayo Clinic, "researchers have linked sitting for prolonged periods with a number of health problems and premature death from cardiovascular disease."

Exercising more doesn't help, but rather, "… the solution seems to be less sitting and more moving. Simply by standing, you burn three times as many calories as you do sitting. Muscle contractions, including the ones required for standing, seem to trigger important processes related to the breakdown of fats and sugars. When you sit down, muscle contractions cease and these processes stall."

The OmniMount Tilt, Pan & Rotate Workstation, a New at Petra Web Special Product, helps solve this issue. Offering fluid adjustments of the users monitors for personal computing, the Workstation allows them to stand or sit as they choose throughout the day.

Fitting most LCD screens up to 22", the stand holds up to 18 lbs. With 180° tilt, 360° pan & rotation and an 8" height range that enhances ergonomics for multiple users, the mount allows users full control over the positioning of their monitor.

Users can choose between mounting the Workstation using the included grommet mount that attaches through a hole up to 2"W x 1.75"D, or the desk clamp that attaches to surface edges up to 1.8".

You can check out the OmnimMount Tilt, Pan & Rotate Workstation, as well as the latest products and hottest deals, on the Petra home page.
