This has been the week for iPhone 5 rumors. We heard it would walk our dog, cook dinner, and braid our hair. Pretty exciting, right? We're looking forward to it! Apparently, however, CNet's Rumor Has It has heard a bit of gossip that conflicts with our hopeful optimism. Everything from a complete departure from the name "iPhone", to alleged sightings of prototype screens and third-party cases, and other anonymous reports from across the world. Forget all that, though! We just want to know if it'll be able to pour us that morning cup of coffee!
In any case, speculation at this point is probably useless - after all, iPhone shopping season is just around the corner. Pretty soon, Apple stores across the country will fill with eager consumers trying to get their hands on Apple's newest in the iPhone product line.
A little birdie also told Rumor Has It that Barnes & Noble is about to release a new 7-inch tablet with a "revolutionary screen." Naturally, the question they (and now we) pose is: what exactly makes a tablet screen revolutionary? Hopefully B&N will be able to put their money where their mouth is - the promise of "revolutionary" is a pretty high bar to set, don't you think?
