The system performs a 1-minute auto camera calibration when the user begins driving and then monitors the lane striping on the road, alerting the user of lane drift if their vehicle wanders outside of the designated lane striping.

The unit’s Forward Collision Warning System alerts drivers of potential collisions based on time, speed and distance, with a black box recording log with audio and video oldest memory over-write that keeps track of the time, date stamp and location information that can be helpful in accident disputes.
